This all weather heavyweight base layer is a 3-button pullover collared base layer shirt; designed to be worn alone or under a vest carrier.
It features a water-resistant 3-layer softshell fabric in the upper chest and arms, treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish to effectively shed rain. The middle layer of this softshell fabric is a waterproof, breathable TPU membrane bonded between the outer and inner layers for enhanced protection and comfort.
Heavyweight Version (SBL59CA): The softshell is backed with anti-pill microfleece for insulation and warmth, with an overall fabric weight of 315gsm, ideal for cooler conditions.
This base layer shirt also features RFID zippered pockets on the forearms, located on both the left and right sleeves. The elasticized cuffs also include a Velcro tab for size adjustment.
The lower torso and underarm sections of the sleeves feature a highly breathable birdseye mesh (190gsm).This comfortable mesh has both antimicrobial and moisture wicking properties, keeping you dry and comfortable.
